History

The Faculty of Work and Social Science belongs to one of the oldest and biggest universities of Spain, the University of Zaragoza. This university was founded in 1542 and it’s located in five different campus: Zaragoza, Huesca, Teruel, La Almunia and Jaca. About 35000 students, 4000 professors and researchers form part of this important institution that offers 54 Bachelor’s degrees, 52 Master’s degrees and 44 PhD programs.

This University is in the top 500 of the world university ranking done by the international consultant Quacquarelli Symonds, where it has also appeared as one of the 10 best universities of Spain.

What about exchange history? The University has been part of international exchange programs for a long time. For example, last year, 705 Erasmus students came to our University and 24 of them to our Faculty, as well as other international students, so as you can see you won’t feel alone at all during your stay.
